The crocodile day
There were lots of bumps on the second road we drove on to the reptile farm. There were two kinds of roads with bumps, we had to go very slowly. Before we had lunch we looked at snakes. The green mamba snake had a chick in its enclosure with a window and the other window inside that we didn’t see you put things in it like little live chicks.
One of the crocodiles had its mouth open. Maybe it was asleep, but maybe it wasn’t. And we saw some crocodiles really close by the wall where we can see them. After we went to the market we saw them and this is what we got at the market: I got my self a crocodile, I got a Hank an elephant and Finny got a little elephant that is his size.

Hello to Sanislo
It's a lot of fun. You should come here! Take a trip! It's really sunny but sometimes it's really rainy. Today it's Easter! The Easter Bunny didn't hide any eggs but it did hide golf balls!
We're staying at a house with Viv and not the same house. And Viv is three and she's turning 4 in September. She has lived in Zambia for 2 years. Before that she lived in Geneva, Switzerland. We have a house but we're not staying at it yet. It is not on a bumpy road - I can ride my bike there!
I am going to go to a new school - my teacher's name is Mrs. Jeffery and it's not the beginning of the schoolyear but it 's the beginning of fall here.
I miss you very much.
The Safari Day
a sitatunga - by the swimming pool!
The safari ride
I went on a safari yesterday at a lodge and there were roads and the safari truck had no seatbelts! I almost standed up the whole time! We saw these animals: waterbuck, impala, tsessebe, puku, sitatunga, python, birds, squirrels, baby chicks, deer, bugs, beetles and
butterflies, dragonflies, lions and an elephant.
I am going to tell you something about the daddy lion. the daddy lion was alseep and we couldn't
It was in this little cage in a little house in a fence and the mommy lions were in an enclosure and we could see them but they didn't roar. Sometimes the male lion was awake but when we were not there.
We fed the elephant; we fed her some fruit. It sucked the fruit like breathing in her nose to hold the fruit and then it lifted up her trunk and put it in her mouth. Everybody in our family fed her.
The elephant wasn't in a cage. it was walking on a trail with us; it didn't knock over any trees. She was all muddy; a guy that we didn't know touched it and his thumb and his arm got muddy! She was so muddy. She feels like dried grass.

The Traveling Days
We went on two airplanes. One went to London. The other airplane went to Zambia. Both flights took ten hours! I took pictues with my camera. We slept and we had dinner on the airplane. Our tables came out of one of the armsrests! At first Finny was scared. He wanted to get off of the aiplane!
At takeoff on the airplane me and daddy got pushed into our seats -like squished back! Me and daddy liked that.
Packing up...the bike
We packed my bike (and everything else) on February 29th. We put my bike in a cardboard box.
They put it in a truck and took it away to a storage place. After a few days they put most of our things including my bike into a container in Seattle.
Then, they put the container on a train and sent it to New York. Right now it is waiting in New York - waiting for a ship. The ship with my container will travel across the ocean and down to South Africa. Then the container goes from Durban SA on a train or a truck up to Zambia. The trip will take 2 months.
My bmx bike tires are in a different shipment that comes to Zambia by airplane. Our air shipment is coming to Lusaka in ten days.
